Last updated
The short version
- Today Pulse uses only strictly necessary cookies: staying signed in, remembering your workspace and remembering your cookie choice.
- Our cookie settings use the same four categories as innostak.com: Strictly necessary, Analytics & performance, Marketing & targeting, and Functionality.
- We don't use any analytics, marketing or functionality cookies today. Those categories are off by default and stay off unless you switch them on.
- Our status widget, embedded on customers' websites, is designed to set no tracking cookies.
- You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, and we honor Global Privacy Control.
This summary is for convenience. The full text below is what applies. Nothing on this page is legal advice.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to give information to site owners and to improve the experience. This policy explains the cookies used on the InnoStak Pulse website and app, which are run by RealTek Automation LLC (doing business as "InnoStak", "we", "us"). Similar technologies, like local storage, are covered by this policy too.
Cookies can be "session" cookies, deleted when you close your browser, or "persistent" cookies, which remain until they expire or you delete them. They can be set by the website you're visiting ("first-party" cookies) or by other services ("third-party" cookies).
For how we handle personal data more generally, see our Privacy Policy.
How we use cookies
Some cookies are strictly necessary for the site and app to work. Others could help us understand how visitors use the site, deliver relevant marketing or remember your preferences. We place non-essential cookies on your device only after you've given your consent, and today we don't place any.
Cookies we use
This is the complete list of cookies Pulse sets today. All of them are first-party (set by our own domain) and strictly necessary, and none are used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
Cookies set by InnoStak Pulse Name Provider Purpose Category Duration sb-<project>-auth-token (may be split into numbered parts, like .0 and .1), plus a short-lived …-code-verifier during sign-up, email confirmation and password reset InnoStak Pulse (via Supabase Auth) Keeps you signed in and protects your session and sign-in links. Set only when you sign up, sign in or reset your password. Strictly necessary Up to 400 days, or until you sign out. The session inside it expires sooner. pulse_ws InnoStak Pulse Remembers which workspace you last opened, so the app returns you there after you sign in. Strictly necessary 1 year pulse_consent InnoStak Pulse Remembers your cookie choices, so we don't ask on every visit. Strictly necessary 12 months Browsing the marketing site sets no cookies until you sign up, sign in or make a cookie choice.
Cookie categories
Our cookie settings use the same four categories as InnoStak's company website. Only the first is in use today.
Strictly necessary (always on)
Essential for the site and app to work, so they can't be switched off in our cookie settings. They keep you signed in, keep your session secure, remember the workspace you last opened and remember your cookie choice. You can block them in your browser, but sign-in and the app won't work properly if you do.
Analytics & performance (not used today)
Would let us count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve how the site performs. We don't use any analytics cookies or analytics vendors today. Off by default.
Marketing & targeting (not used today)
Could be set by advertising partners to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant ads, or to measure campaigns. We don't use any today. Off by default, and always off when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.
Functionality (not used today)
Would remember your preferences and enable optional features, such as a live chat widget. We don't use any today. Off by default.
If we add a cookie in any optional category, we'll list it on this page first and set it only after you've switched that category on.
The status widget on customers' sites
Customers can embed a Pulse status widget on their own websites. The widget shows public status information only (for example, whether a service is up). It is designed to set no cookies and not to track the people who view it.
The website that embeds the widget has its own cookie and privacy policies, which we don't control.
Third-party cookies
Pulse doesn't place third-party cookies on its own pages. When you pay, Stripe's checkout and billing portal pages run on Stripe's own domain and may set their own cookies, mainly for fraud prevention. Where bot protection is switched on, Cloudflare Turnstile may check your browser on signup and sign-in forms to tell people from bots. These providers' own policies apply to what they do.
Managing your cookie preferences
- Cookie banner: on your first visit, you can accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies (keeping only strictly necessary ones), or choose category by category. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and optional categories are never pre-selected.
- Cookie settings: use the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer to reopen your preferences at any time. Turning a category off again is as easy as turning it on.
- We ask again after 12 months, or sooner if our categories change.
- Your browser: most browsers let you view, block and delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop sign-in from working.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, our cookie tool treats it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising for that browser, and keeps Marketing & targeting cookies switched off. We don't sell or share personal information today, so the signal confirms what already happens, but we will keep honoring it if our practices ever change.
Your rights and our legal basis
Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, we rely on your consent (Article 6(1)(a)) for analytics, marketing and functionality cookies, and on our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) for strictly necessary cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time in Cookie settings, without affecting earlier processing.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, port or object to the processing of your personal data. Our Privacy Policy explains these rights and how to use them.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page when the cookies we use change, and change the "Last updated" date at the top. If we add optional cookies, we'll ask for your consent before using them.
