Cancellation & Refund Policy
How InnoStak Pulse billing, automatic renewal and cancellation work, when refunds apply, and what happens if a payment fails.
Last updated
The short version
- Pulse is billed monthly, in advance, through Stripe, and renews automatically until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time in the billing portal. You keep access until the end of the month you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
- Like all InnoStak subscriptions, payments are final and non-refundable, including partial months and unused features.
- We fix billing mistakes: if you're charged twice or charged in error, tell us within 7 days of the charge.
- There are no overage charges. If you reach a plan limit, that feature pauses; we never bill you extra for it.
- If we end your paid subscription for our own convenience, we refund the unused part of your prepaid fees.
This summary is for convenience. The full text below is what applies. Nothing on this page is legal advice.
General policy
This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for InnoStak Pulse subscriptions sold by RealTek Automation LLC (doing business as "InnoStak", "we", "us"). It is part of our Terms of Service. If they conflict, the Terms of Service apply.
As with all InnoStak subscriptions and services, all payments for Pulse are final and non-refundable, except as described in this policy or where the law requires a refund. By subscribing, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
Billing and automatic renewal
- Pulse subscriptions are billed monthly, in advance, at the start of each billing period. Payments are processed by Stripe.
- Your subscription renews automatically each month at the then-current price for your plan until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method on file for each renewal.
- Please keep a valid payment method on file, and update it promptly if a payment fails. You can do this in the Stripe Customer Portal from the app.
- We'll give you at least 30 days' notice of a price increase. It applies from your next renewal after that notice, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
- Fees don't include taxes, which are added where the law requires.
How to cancel
- A workspace owner opens Plan & billing in the app and chooses to manage the subscription in the Stripe Customer Portal.
- Cancel the subscription there. No separate written notice is needed, and there is no cancellation fee.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Pulse keeps working until then, and you won't be charged for the next period.
If you can't reach the portal, email support@innostak.com or call 346-480-7666 from the account owner's email address before your next renewal date, and we'll cancel it for you.
After the paid period ends, your data remains available to export for at least 30 days, as described in our Terms of Service.
No refunds
Payments for Pulse subscriptions are non-refundable. That includes:
- the current month after you cancel (you keep access until the period ends instead);
- partial months, and months in which you used Pulse little or not at all;
- unused plan allowances, such as AI questions or SMS segments, which don't roll over;
- downgrades, which take effect at the end of the current period, so the price you've already paid covers the rest of it.
Upgrades take effect right away. Stripe shows the prorated amount before you confirm, and any proration credit is applied to your invoices, not paid out as a refund.
Plan limits and no overage charges
Pulse never charges overage fees. When you reach a plan limit, the feature pauses until your next billing period or until you upgrade. Any future automatic top-up would require your explicit opt-in first, and we would update this policy before offering one.
Refund exceptions
We issue refunds only in these cases:
- Billing errors: if you were charged twice, charged the wrong amount or charged after a cancellation took effect, we'll refund the incorrect amount. Please contact us within 7 days of the charge so we can investigate while the details are fresh.
- Termination for our convenience: if we end your paid subscription or stop offering Pulse for reasons other than your breach of the Terms, we'll refund the prepaid fees for the period after termination.
- Infringement claims: if we end your subscription because of an intellectual property claim, as described in the Terms, we'll refund prepaid fees for the unused period.
- Warranty remedy: if our Warranty Policy provides a refund for a defect we can't fix, we'll refund as it describes.
- Where the law requires a refund.
Outside these cases, any other refund or credit is at InnoStak's sole discretion and doesn't create an obligation to refund in other cases. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe. Your bank may take several business days to show them.
Failed payments
- If a payment fails, Stripe may retry it automatically, and we'll send reminders to the workspace owner.
- If the payment isn't resolved within the grace period (currently 7 days), we stop new monitoring, alerts and AI features. You keep read, export and billing access for the retention period, so you can bring the account current or take your data with you.
- Access returns once the outstanding balance is paid. We don't charge a reactivation fee.
- If the account stays unpaid, we may end the subscription as described in the Terms of Service.
Chargebacks and payment disputes
If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us first at support@innostak.com or call 346-480-7666. We can usually fix billing problems faster than a bank dispute.
If a chargeback or payment dispute is opened, we may suspend the workspace while it is investigated. If the dispute is decided in our favor or withdrawn, you're responsible for the outstanding fees and for dispute fees we were charged, and we may pursue collection of amounts owed. Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under law or your card network's rules. [Attorney to confirm: recovery of chargeback fees and collection costs from customers]
Professional services
Optional InnoStak engineering help that Pulse may connect you with is not part of your subscription. It is quoted separately, and its payment, cancellation and refund terms are set out in its quote, statement of work or service agreement, together with InnoStak's company Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy and will post changes on this page with a new "Last updated" date. For material changes, we'll notify workspace owners by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect, and changes apply from your next renewal after that. They never apply to charges made before the change.
